One of the nice things about my recent trip to southeastern USA was that insects were still being active.  They offered me some lovely photo opportunities.

One of the problems with these insects is identification.  I found a site www.bugguide.net that really helps with identification, upload a photo and someone will

give you suggestions on identification.  At the very least it gives you somewhere to start your search.

This little butterfly would fit inside a dime….
