Not much has been happening lately on the birding front.  After a flurry of activity, during the lovely week we had in March, the bird arrival rate has dropped off considerably.  

I was supposed to travel this month in search of Sage Grouse and Prairie Chickens in the US but Manulife, Blue Cross and all the travel insurance providers think differently.  I could not find a single provider that would cover me for travel.  It seems most are willing to take your money if your healthy but forget about coverage if you’ve had any kind of illness.

So it seems most of my travel will happen in Ontario this year.
