Sorry for not posting much lately but vacation, golf and camera repairs have taken their toll. LOLOLOL. Ok enough excuses, I am back in business. Recently Mike Cummings and I got out for a few days of fun photography. Hmmm let me think, was it fun. Yes its always fun with friends, doing anything.

We had a very obliging Juvenile Black-crowned Night-heron at Andrew Hayden Park. He let me get to within a few feet of him, as I did he gave me what I think was a dirty look. What do you think?

What was even more fun was getting out with my macro lens and getting new images of all the colorful bugs around. Its one of my favorite summer pastimes. Here are just a few:
