Migrants, New Arrivals, Pelee, Mud Lake – May 2015

May is just a wonderful month to be a Birder who enjoys photography.  New birds are arriving daily all across North America.

Best of all the Warblers.  You never know when you’ll encounter a flock and what will be in that flock.  After all these years, I know where to find most of the species when they reach their territories.

Insects are in full hatch, Dragonflies, Damselflies and Butterflies.  Wildflowers are another great subject for our cameras, and best of all they don’t move much.

Below are some of the newest photos from this May.  Best part is, May is not finished yet.

What? No jet lag, no chasing across countries, and more than two hours of sleep???
Aren’t we blessed to have such beautiful birds visit our area! A superb collection. So many beautiful, colourful birds. Thanks for sharing, Paul!
