Barron River Canyon – Algonquin Park

I decided to make a trip to Lake Traverse in Algonquin Park to see if I could find a few Red Crossbills and hopefully a Leconte’s Sparrow.  The weather had other plans for us though, a steady rain hampered us all morning.

We stopped at the Barron River Canyon on the way out and took a number of HDR images.

Below are some of the better ones of the views from the canyon processed using Photomatix Pro 4.2.

One Response to Barron River Canyon – Algonquin Park

  1. shirley cove says:

too bad about not seeing the birds but the canyon is amazing eh? We paddled and looked up on the way in and thought wow that’s high. On the way out (we stayed at St. Andrew’s Lake for 3 days) we did the Barron Canyon Trail and looked down…….WOW
