Back to San Diego

We left Dana Point after a great nights sleep and breakfast for our return trip to San Diego.  Deciding to hug the coast down Hwy. 1 to La Hoya, where the Museum of Contemporary Art is located.  Sue wanted to take a look and it gave me an opportunity to check out the local shoreline.

Another successful trip, Paul! A few ID assists for you. The dragonfly is a male Blue Dasher, the lizards look to be all Western Fence (one with a regenerated tail) and the second tern from top here is actually an Elegant Tern, note the long thin bill opposed to the first tern (Royal) with the thicker bill with the slight bulge of the lower mandible. Ciao to you! dan b.

Yet another wonderful and successful trip. I love the Orange Bishop and the dragonflies.
